My name is Bill Ford-Smith; I first discovered digital photography a little less than a decade into the 21st Century, rapidly progressing from a point and shoot, via a bridge camera, before ending up with my first DSLR a couple of years later – at this point, my enthusiasm really took off.
Originally from the UK, I moved to Canada in 2011, becoming Canadian a few years later. Since being in Canada, I’ve had an excellent time exploring with my camera, and have also completed Sheridan College’s certificate of Digital Photography.
The idea with this site is to have somewhere to put my occasional photographs that I happen to like, along with a bit of text outlining – to a greater or lesser extent – what those pictures are about, where they were taken et cetera.
In case it isn’t obvious, the images and text on here are not AI-generated. I’m sure AI has its place, but that place isn’t on this site!
